Edible Milk Chocolate Dessert Cups

Today I made these divine looking  edible  milk chocolate cups , overflowing with dark melting chocolate.


My first reaction when my son wanted to have it —- Please don’t touch —- Let it be —–You can have it tomorrow —– he may be wondering about my sanity —- ha ha ha —— but  what to do totally fell in love with these beauties —-

With the leftover liquid milk chocolate I made some chocolate flowers with colourful gems to adorn it  and needless to say — no one was allowed to touch any of them. 😛

So this is my version of edible chocolate cup  and white flowers — 🙂20170425_22354320170425_221751

Star Ingredient:

Milk Compund (White),  and (Dark)20170425_21121220170425_211302

Serves 5 to 6 persons

Main Ingredients :

  • 1 packet of Milk Compund (White)
  • 1 packet of  Milk Compund (Dark)
  • Some cake sparklers  and gems

Method :

Here I have used silicon cup cake liner to make these cups.

At first melt the white chocolate in double boiler  method . Fill up the moulds up to the rim . Now since we are going to make a hollow cup, flip it over and drain out the excess in another bowl. Scrape the edge of the excess left onto the  top of  silicon cup. 20170425_222416

We will let them to set for 30 mins into the freezer , be sure they are completely set.

Meanwhile make the handle of the teacups on a tray lined with butter paper with the creamy melted milk chocolate , make several of them since  some of them may break.20170425_123246

Now also make the saucer part of the tea cup with a pastry cone,  since I did not have one I  used my bangles to make these saucers — 🙂20170425_222545

Now pull out the chocolate cup from the silicon mould but be very careful not to break the cups, handle it with care and peel it right off. Set them onto the saucers and stick  the handles with the help of more melted chocolate.

Now it is ready to be filled with mousse, chocolate, ice creams, berries,  whatever catches your fancy.

I have filled these delicious cups with melted dark chocolate, garnished it with cherry.  20170425_221610

Edible Chocolate Flowers :

Take two small saucers of white chocolate you have made and just fold it like petals when they are still warm. Then garnish them with cake sprinklers and gems. 20170425_220400
