Farfalle (bow tied pasta) with meatballs

No one can go wrong with this combination. I made it  yesterday night for dinner  as my son  is a great fan of Italian food .

It’s a great tasting recipe , it can be served cold or hot as a salad or as a main dish. Pasta provides you with energy and essential nutrients in the form of fibre (vegetables). vitamins( anti-oxidant rich tomato sauce) and proteins ( packed in poultry and cheese). But it should be taken in moderation one should not get overboard with it.

Bowl of Italian comfort once in a while —–  is heavenly  —— 🙂

This recipe is done in two steps, first the meatballs have to be prepared , then the pasta sauce .

Form 1 inch meatballs , roll  all the meatballs in flour . Heat oil in a deep skillet for deep-frying over a medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches , so that you do not overcrowd the  pan and  fry until browned on all sides. Remove meatballs in a separate  dish and keep aside.20170424_101816

This is the first of your recipes I’ve tried to make as the ingredients were easy for me to obtain. I’d never made ‘meatballs’ without meat before but I must say these chickenballs were delicious. I shall be making this again.
