Hummus —

Hummus is a Levantine Dip made from cooked , mashed chick peas, blended with tahini sauce ( sesame paste ) , olive oil, lemon,garlic and salt.

It is a popular dip in Egypt which is eaten with pita bread.

This is an easiest dip that one can make .

Star Ingredient :

Chick Peas

Main Ingredients :

  • 2 cups of boiled chickpeas
  •  1 cup tahini sauce or 4 teaspoon of sesame seed
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 5 to 6 tablespoon of virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cumin
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

Method :

Put all the ingredients together in a food processor and begin to process, add the chickpeas liquid , if it becomes to dry because it needed to be a smooth puree.

Taste and adjust the seasoning .Put in a small serving bowl and garnish it with lemon juice, olive oil , and some paprika powder.

Your heavenly hummus is ready to be eaten with falafel —-
