Monsoon and not having Ilish bhapa — Impossible ——–
This dish is easy to prepare and tastes heavenly .
- 5 to 6 pieces of hilsa fish
- 3 to 4 tablespoon of mustard paste
- 5 tsp of curd
- 5 tsp of mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- 4 to 5 green chillies
Simply marinate the fishes with all the ingredients ( mustard paste, curd, mustard oil , green chillies and salt) for an hour .
Then transfer it to a microwave proof dish and cover it with an aluminium foil . Make 4 to 5 holes on the aluminium foil with a fork. Put the dish on another microwave proof plate with some water on it .
Steam the fish for 20 minutes — in the oven — inbetween turn the fish once after 10 minutes —
Serve it hot with steamed white rice —– drooling —-
