My son was screaming ice-cream , hence went a bought a bar of vanilla ice- cream from the market — But he was not in a mood to have a plain vanilla one .
1st layer of broken digestive biscuits
2nd layer of dark chocolate
3rd layer of vanilla ice cream —
This is a simple make ahead dessert — appealing to both adults and kids and a great way to end a dinner party —
- 2 packets of digestive biscuits (200 gm each)
- 100 gm of Amul butter (melted)
- 500 gm of dark chocolate
- 1 pack of Amul fresh cream
- 1 bar of Vanilla ice cream
- Choco chips for decoration
To begin, crush the biscuits in a mixer and transfer it to a bowl and mix in the melted butter. Mix in well then transfer it into a rectangular or circular glass bowl and press it with your hand till the surface becomes smooth.
Put it in the freezer for half an hour . This will be the first layer.
Now put the fresh cream on low flame, and add in the chocolate into it — after 2 to 3 minutes take it off from the fire — Blend well till all the cream mixes with the chocolate with a hand mixer , then pour this mixture on top of the biscuit layer. This will be your second layer . Again let it freeze for an hour or so or till the chocolate layer properly sets.
Decorate the cake with Choco chips or chocolate sauce — anything you like — 🙂
