An easy staple food that can be served with different varieties of side dishes — which can be veg or non-veg —- according to yr liking — or can be had on it’s own with some veggies thrown in —
It is seasoned with herbs and tossed with butter
Simplest recipe that you can ever make —-
- 2 bowls of fine grain steamed rice (best use of left over rice)
- 2 tbsp of Amul butter
- Some chopped garlic
- Some herbs ( oregano, thyme , parsley leaves )
- Some red chilli flakes
- Salt to taste
- One or two capsicum or any other vegetable of your choice
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper powder
Heat butter on low heat in a sauce pan.
Add the garlic , fry until it releases its aroma then add in all the herbs, red chilli flakes, capsicum and black pepper powder.
Adjust seasoning .
Serve hot with grilled vegetables .
